Description
The Terrabound Men's Lightweight Windbreaker is a packable hooded wind jacket built for changeable UK weather - a shell that cuts the wind on exposed ground without turning into a sauna on the way up. It packs small enough to live in the bottom of a rucksack all season and comes out the moment the weather turns.
Made from a 100% woven nylon shell with a durable water-repellent finish, the fabric is air-permeable rather than sealed, so heat escapes while the wind is held off. Elasticated cuffs and an adjustable drawcord hem stop the sleeves and body flapping at speed, and the whole jacket compresses into its own stuff pouch.
Three pockets carry what you need without a bag, including a zip-secured chest pocket that takes a phone. Rated UPF 50+ for cover on open ground, it is the layer you keep on instead of stopping to take off.
Key Features:
- Woven nylon shell blocks wind while staying air-permeable, so heat escapes instead of building up on a climb.
- Packs down into its own stuff pouch and weighs little enough to carry every day without noticing it.
- Zip-secured chest pocket holds a phone on the move, with two hand pockets for keys and gloves.
- Elasticated cuffs and an adjustable drawcord hem stop the sleeves and body flapping in a headwind.
- Durable water-repellent finish sheds a passing shower without the clammy feel of a sealed waterproof shell.
- UPF 50+ rated fabric covers the arms and shoulders through long days on open ground.
- Hood gives quick head cover when the wind gets up on hillsides and exposed coast paths.
Available in six colourways and sized S to 3XL, the Terrabound Lightweight Windbreaker is the shell you carry without thinking about it and reach for the moment the wind picks up.
Pair it with a Terrabound fleece for colder days on the hill.
