At TerraBound Outdoors, we want you to be fully equipped for your next journey. If a piece of gear doesn't meet your expectations or the fit isn't right for the trail, we are here to help. This policy outlines your return rights and the process for customers within the United Kingdom.

30-Day Trail Period

We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery. If you decide the equipment isn't right for you within this time, you can return it for a refund.

How to Start a Return

To ensure your return is processed efficiently, please follow these steps:

  1. Request Authorisation: Email us at support@terraboundoutdoors.co.uk to notify us of your return.

  2. Condition Check: To be eligible for a full refund, items must be:

    • Unused and in original condition (e.g., boots only worn indoors to check fit).

    • Complete with all original tags, manuals, and packaging.

    • Clean and free from outdoor debris, pet hair, or odours.

  3. Approval: Once approved, we will provide you with the return shipping instructions. Items sent back without prior authorisation may experience delays in processing.

Damaged, Faulty, or Warranty Issues

We pride ourselves on the quality of our gear. Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, if an item arrives damaged or develops a fault:

  • Within 30 days: You are entitled to a full refund or replacement.

  • After 30 days: We will assist with a repair or replacement in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty. Please contact us immediately at support@terraboundoutdoors.co.uk with photos of the fault so we can resolve it for you.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the right gear is to return your original item for a refund and place a new order for the correct size or model. This ensures the item is reserved for you and dispatched without delay.

Refunds

  • Inspection: Once your return reaches our warehouse, we will inspect it to ensure it meets the return conditions.

  • Payment: Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method.

  • Timeline: We aim to process refunds within 10 business days of receipt. Please allow a few extra days for your bank to reflect the credit.

  • Follow-up: If you haven’t seen your refund within 15 business days of our confirmation email, please get in touch.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Customer Responsibility: For "change of mind" returns or sizing issues, the cost of return postage is covered by the customer.

  • Our Responsibility: If the item is faulty, damaged upon arrival, or we sent the wrong gear, TerraBound Outdoors will provide a pre-paid return label or reimburse your shipping costs.

No Restocking Fees

We believe in fair play. There are no restocking fees for any returned items that meet our return conditions.
