Description
The Terrabound Sun Hat with Neck Flap is a lightweight wide-brim sun hat that covers the back of your neck and your ears, the places a cap leaves out in the sun. The brim shades your face, a soft flap hangs from under the back and sides of the brim down to your collar, and a chin strap with a cord lock keeps it on when the wind picks up on the coast or the riverbank.
Made from a light, quick-drying fabric rated UPF 50+, with a crescent of mesh on each side of the crown to let warm air out and a drawcord with a toggle at the back to snug the fit. The flap has a mesh inner face and the brim a dark underside.
Where our boonie hats shade you with an all-round brim, this one adds the flap, for long days fishing, gardening, walking the coast path or watching the cricket. It gives you shade for your face, ears and neck in one light hat, so the back of your neck is no longer the bit the sun cream misses.
Key Features:
- A soft neck flap hangs from under the brim to cover the back and sides of your neck and your ears, the areas a cap leaves in the sun.
- Wide brim shades your face and temples on long sunny days by the water, in the garden or on the trail.
- Mesh vents on each side of the crown let warm air out, so a full-coverage sun hat still feels light on a hot day.
- Adjustable chin strap with a cord lock holds the hat in place in gusty coastal and riverside wind.
- Drawcord with a toggle at the back of the crown adjusts the one-size fit to your head.
- Light, quick-drying fabric rated UPF 50+ dries off fast after a shower or a splash from the river.
Available in Khaki Tan, Black, Blue and Sand Beige - practical sun cover for anglers, gardeners and walkers who want their neck and ears covered without the fuss.
Pair it with our Men's or Women's Sun Hoodie for head-to-wrist cover on long summer days.
