The Terrabound 60L Hiking Rucksack is a large backpack built to carry everything for a weekend camp or a multi-day walk in one bag. The tent and clothes go in the 60-litre main compartment, the sleeping bag goes in the separate zipped compartment at the base, and the map, snacks and head torch sit in the lid and front pocket where you can reach them.
A padded hip belt takes much of the weight off your shoulders, and air-mesh back pads either side of a central channel let air move between the bag and your back on the climbs. Padded mesh shoulder straps, load-lifter straps and a sternum strap keep the load close, while two compression straps on each side cinch a half-full bag so it does not sway.
Suited to wild camping, DofE expeditions, long-distance paths and backpacking trips, it keeps everything for the trip on your back and comfortable to the end of the day. Choose from green, black or dark blue.
Key Features:
- Separate zipped lower compartment lets you pull the sleeping bag out first without unpacking the rest of the rucksack.
- 60-litre top-loading main compartment holds a tent, clothes and food for a weekend away in one bag.
- Padded hip belt with pockets moves the load onto your hips so your shoulders are not carrying it all day.
- Air-mesh back pads with a central channel help reduce a sweaty back on long climbs.
- Stretch mesh side pockets keep a water bottle within reach without taking the rucksack off.
- Zipped lid pocket and front pocket keep your map, phone and head torch separate from the main load.
- Sternum strap with a built-in whistle buckle and a reflective front strip help on the hill and on dark lanes.
A practical camping rucksack for anyone who would rather carry one well-organised bag than a day pack and a handful of extras.
Pair it with our Camping Sleeping Mat and Lightweight Trekking Poles for a complete weekend on the trail.
