Description
This men's body warmer is a black quilted gilet lined with deep fleece pile, so your middle stays covered and your arms stay free. It is for the mornings when a coat is too much by the second field and a jumper on its own is not enough.
The outer is a smooth woven polyester, stitched through in a wave pattern, and the whole inside of the body is lined with a thick, soft cream pile. A full-length zip runs up to a stand collar that closes round the neck, and two vertical hand pockets zip shut. It is a regular, straight cut that finishes at the hip, with room for a jumper underneath. It has no sleeves by design, so on a properly cold day your arms will still want a jumper or a coat over the top. We have not had it tested for warmth, wind or rain, so we do not claim a rating for any of them.
Wear it over a shirt or jumper for the dog walk, on the allotment or round the golf course, or zip it under a waterproof when the weather turns. It is a practical layer for anyone who wants a warm middle without a heavy coat.
Key Features:
- A thick fleece pile lines the inside of the body, front and back, for a soft warm layer around your middle.
- The sleeveless cut leaves your arms completely free for the lead, the spade or a golf swing.
- A stand collar and full-length zip close right up to the chin, so there is no open gap at the neck.
- Two vertical zipped hand pockets keep your phone and keys in place when you bend down.
- The smooth quilted black outer looks tidy over a shirt or jumper and slips under a coat or waterproof.
- Regular straight fit in sizes S to XXXL, with room to wear a jumper underneath.
Terrabound kit is chosen for how people actually use it outdoors, and this is the layer that hangs by the back door for every walk from autumn to spring.
Pair it with our Ribbed Fisherman Beanie for cold mornings out.
