The Terrabound Women's Walking Boots are suede ankle boots on a deep-tread chunky sole, built for the everyday winter walk: the morning dog walk, the school run and the Saturday loop round the park. The deep tread holds on wet leaves and frosty pavements, and the thick sole lifts your feet off cold, wet ground.

The upper is soft pigskin suede leather, colour-blocked with a rubber toe rand and a padded textile collar, laced through brass eyelets with two speed hooks at the top and a pull loop at the heel. Inside is a breathable cloth lining. Underneath sits a block-tread rubber lug sole with a 3 to 5 cm heel.

From frosty pavements and muddy park paths to the cafe afterwards, these are gripped, comfortable boots that still look right with jeans and a parka. The suede is not waterproof, so treat it with a protector spray and keep the wellies for standing water.
