Women's Gilet - Quilted Fleece Lined Body Warmer with Poppers

This women's gilet puts soft fleece round your middle and leaves your arms free, without the puffy look. It is a slim, sleeveless quilted body warmer with a soft fleece lining on the inside of the front, thin diamond quilting that lies close rather than puffing out, and a row of metal poppers down the front that open in one pull.

The shell is a woven 100% polyester, quilted in long diamonds front and back, with a narrow binding in the same colour round the V-neck, the armholes, the front edges and the hem, and a welt pocket at the hip. The cut is shaped at the waist and finishes at the hip. The supplier describes the fit as slim and recommends one size up, which is worth following if you plan to wear it over a thick jumper. We have not had it tested for warmth, wind or rain, so we do not claim any of those, and the shell is not waterproof. Think of it as the layer between a jumper and a coat, not a replacement for a winter coat on the coldest days.
