Description
The Terrabound Men's Padded Cycling Shorts are a gel-padded mesh liner you wear instead of your underwear, under any shorts or pants you already own. Two gel pads sit where the saddle presses, so a sore backside stops being the reason you turn for home, and you never have to put on lycra.
The sewn-in chamois pad layers two raised gel pads over a high-density sponge and a perforated silicone layer, with a channel down the center. The body is a fine stretch mesh that lets heat and sweat out instead of holding them in like cotton, and the legs run to mid-thigh with flat seams, so nothing bunches or rubs on the inner thigh. A wide elastic waistband and a close fit keep the pad where you sit.
Pull them on next to the skin with no underwear beneath, then add your usual walking shorts, MTB baggies, chinos or joggers on top. On the commute, on holiday, on the trails or on a indoor trainer at home, they give you padded cycling shorts comfort without the cycling shorts look.
Key Features:
- Two raised gel pads sit under your sit bones and cushion saddle pressure on commutes, trail rides and long leisure rides.
- Worn as a padded liner under your own shorts or pants, so you get proper padding without wearing lycra.
- Fine stretch mesh lets heat and sweat escape, so you stay cooler and drier than in cotton boxers.
- Mid-thigh legs with flat seams cover the inner thigh, where ordinary boxers ride up and rub.
- Wide elastic waistband and a close fit keep the pad in place when you lean forward over the bars.
- Works on any saddle and any bike, from holiday hire bikes and e-bikes to mountain bikes and indoor trainers.
Terrabound makes practical outdoor kit for riders who would rather wear their own clothes. Keep the shorts you like and change what is underneath.
Pair them with our fingerless gel cycling gloves and reflective cycling socks for a more comfortable ride.
